Surprising no one, LeAnn Rimes has officially filed for divorce from her estranged husband Dean Sheremet. The couple married in 2002 when LeAnn was 19 years old and Dean was 21 - and her backup dancer

LeAnn chose to release the statement about her divorce on her website:

“After much thoughtful mutual consideration, Dean and I have agreed to move forward with dissolving our marriage. This decision was amicable and we remain committed and caring friends with great admiration for one another. Thank you so much for all of your continued love and support – it is deeply appreciated.”

Sources claim that LeAnn is completely paying Dean off with a nice apartment in New York, and most likely a sweet divorce settlement

Yeah Im sure she thought alot about it while hooking up with her co-star Eddie Cibrian who is also married with kids...

I love how celebs say they are staying friends um yeah who stays friends with an ex?? It makes drive bys and crank calls less fun...
